As the lead planner, chances are you’ll be chatting with me! I’ve been in the wedding world since 2016 and turned my passion into a full-time career in 2021. Nothing beats getting to be part of such a huge milestone in a couple’s story. And here in Vancouver, we’re lucky enough to celebrate an incredible mix of cultures and traditions — which means no two weddings are ever the same, and we get the joy of bringing each unique vision to life.

I’m also a brand-new mom, which has somehow unlocked an even stronger level of multitasking. In true event-planner fashion, I was back setting up a proposal just two weeks after giving birth — because apparently I don’t know how to sit still. Outside of weddings, I’m big into sports and very competitive (the fun kind… mostly). Whether it’s planning timelines, styling décor, or making sure your reception runs smoother than your first dance, I’m always all in.

Before there was Power of Threee, there was, power of ME AKA Sammie Jo Productions — I’ve been in the event game for what feels like several lifetimes: club nights, concerts, Filipino community events… and now weddings have officially joined the chaos résumé.

These days, I’m one of the planners and your DOC (Director of Calm… mostly). I can keep your timeline on track, your Tito slightly under control, and even host your wedding in English or with a little Taglish sprinkled in for extra flavour.

As the middle child, I’ve naturally claimed the title of “the creative one” — it’s basically in the job description. I’m the person behind all things pretty, polished, and Pinterest-worthy.

We actually started out just setting up clients’ décor, until I realized… maybe I didn’t want to be professionally associated with every DIY centerpiece held together by hot glue and pure optimism (no offence, of course lol). So little by little, we started collecting our own rentals. What began as a few décor pieces turned into one room, then a garage, and somehow… now we have a warehouse.

These days, we offer full décor styling, rentals, and florals — whether you’re into silk florals, fresh blooms, or a mix of both. And yes, I’ll still happily set up your personal décor too. Just send me your Pinterest board, and I’ll turn your “saved ideas” into “OMG this is my wedding.”

And because apparently I can’t stop adding things to my résumé, I also offer child-minding services for weddings and events. With 20+ years of childcare experience, I’m basically the go-to for keeping little ones entertained, cared for, and off the dance floor during the speeches (until it’s finally their time to shine).
